写篆书，因为不得笔法真谛，所以好多人都不是写的使转，而是"画字"的方式，所以有笔无力，难见沉雄。唯有黄映元先生，尽知笔法，用笔写书法，不是依笔画书法，所以他的篆书有很强的书写性，没有一笔一画一迹一字是画成的结果，全然是方圆机变，使转自如的书法境界。心顺手畅，随心而动，写篆书就是心任自然，逸笔谐毫，挥洒自如。在这种境界下写篆书，就容易写得情满绪丰，潇洒如歌。以至于他的篆书会有王羲之行书的快意味，也有颜真卿楷书的沉雄风格，再去深层体验，又不乏苏东坡书法里那种偃笔卧行，漫漫苍劲的文胆气度。
